The character commentary pages that each volume has ended with are written from the perspective of them reminiscing about the events in the volume at some future point where they've (seemingly) gotten back together.

Given that those are just an end of volume gimmick, there's no real guarantee that it's actually related to cannon at all though.

I know about those and have read them. They're cute! As you said, they're not specific about what their relationship is like in the future, and the cannon is unclear. That's the only reason I responded. That other comment makes it seem like a done deal, unless I've missed something.

Edit: I checked Volume 9's commentary and that's the most suggestive of them all. But still.

that is the reason way i stop reading, because this story from the way it is written seems to be about the process of them figuring out way they relationship didn’t work while making their current relationship work!

but for some reason it doesn’t click with me, i had read romance stories were one couple broke up and the story is about moving away from your ex-lover and find love again! while figuring out way the last relationship didn’t work, but this story is taking that to an different route! more about concentrating about the WAY the last relationship didn’t work out and less about the romance.

Oh i just realize the title of the story is EXACLT about that >.>

so i might read the story if they do go back together cuz that is an interesting turn of events, since I’m not that hooked on the deep examinations of WAY the relationship didn’t work.

I'll keep things vague: it makes sense but isn't the typical situation that romance manga normally cover, which surprised me (but the signs have been there). Guess we can't really talk about it here though. I just remembered our talk and had to say something lol.
