How has it been the workload handled by the staff recently?

Good day/night to everyone, since normally the updates are regarding site improvements (which is great) I wanted to know how busy is overall the staff nowadays. From time to time a new moderator/developer joins and of course there're only words of gratitude to all of them (they usually contribute more than just working for free), but I would like to know if the current amount of staff is proper, which are the bottlenecks and how the rest can we contribute to make it easier besides giving accurate reports and not being disruptive.

The best way users can contribute is by reading the rules and asking themselves "if I do this, will the mods need to make a new rule?" Or "if I do this, will my mother come beat me with a slipper/shoe/sandal/etc.?".
