How to find and promote interesting titles: Discovery Filters :planned:

Generally filters meant specifically to help discovering new titles someone might be interested in.
Examples off the top of my head:
1. Newly updated manga that have had less than
Code:
N
chapters posted so far.
2. Newly updated manga that before the last update had not been updated in
Code:
T
time.
3. Manga rated as good or better than similar manga (e.g. similar by intersection of categories set) but which has fewer views than the average views for titles in that categories set.
4. Newly added manga titles within
Code:
T
time or while they remain in the latest
Code:
K
newly added titles in their categories-set. (Edit: not sure what I meant here.)
5. Cross-language pollination. A manga that does well in one language gets a boost in languages where it's not as well represented or might fall between the cracks.
Etc.
I don't want to say "YouTube for manga". YouTube's discovery experience hasn't been all that good lately :/ But you get the idea.

@Alad Rather than Discovery filters, these would just be advanced search options. Which I guess we are planning on implementing some of these.

That sounds great! I look forward to it.
The word "Discovery" was to describe more their "flavor" or purpose than the place they'll get in the UI.
Like, many of my suggestions wouldn't make sense as stand-alone search filters, but they'd make sense as "suggestions" (e.g. in hover hints) defined in combinations of the more powerful generic search filters.

Then my request would become:
Take some time to define a good set of such combinations (maybe a wiki?) and put them in a good place for someone who wants to look specifically for new titles to read.
That would need some good combinators for search though. For example, my (1.) suggestion could be:
Code:
{last-update > 2 months ago AND chapters < 20}
. But then how do you say "previous-to-last-update" for (2.)? And so on.
