I see Mizuno and I think about what this manga could have been about. An older sister helping her NBR younger brother to overcome loss while he learns to open to other people, while he tries to help his overly guarded classmate to open up as well.
Instead we got this.

Holy crap I remember binging this at that aggregator site before I came to MD. I think I made it to chapter 30 or something before I got bored of the same ecchi jokes made repeatedly.
Honestly this was bad.
So bad it actually fixed the hole left from the original one that was actually good.
Like when Suzumiya Haruhi 2006 anime ended it left us fansempty, we wanted more.
But then they made the second season and insulted us with 8 episodes of endless eight, and I wasn't a fan for a few years.
So there's an Omake version out and a Live Action movie out? This was more popular than anyone gave it credit for. Maybe the Omake has a proper ending, kinda like they did in RosarioxVampire.
It's almost as if Igarashi were challenging the publisher to see how much could be gotten away with in terms of incoherence and thin plot without getting shit canned altogether. If you look at it that way, it's actually kind of impressive.
