It would be nice if someone would upload the English scanlations of this manga. It's a real favorite of mine, and was written by a comedic genius!
Four months after writing this, it got uploaded. Thank you Konja. I find it really sad that Mizutani Naoki died at the young age of 39 with only one manga to his credit (at least according to mangaupdates). The humour in this manga is fresh and enjoyable, even though it's over thirty years old. As one can see from the description above, it contains quite a few tropes, but they aren't hackneyed or overdone (heck, the mangaka might have invented some of them). The manga is just the right length for the plot. I would love to see what the writer could have produced if he hadn't passed on so early.

Such a lovely manga!
The characters are from another era, refreshingly pure and wholesome. Also take your time with the backgrounds, the character art is obviously great but look at how detailed the backgrounds are.
So sad to hear the author passed away so young.
