I'm a bit saddened this won't be an interesting plot point with an ensemble cast of parents and an ongoing investigation into the disappearance of a bus full of schoolkids and a 3DS. They're such threadbare characters that it's harder to care about them. They don't have personality traits so much as roles to establish different parts of the elf meat economy.

She is Dark Eldar, and this is the webway, accessed through one of the rare functioning portals to the Imperial Webway, all guided by the Emperor's Light. This is a very unrealistic depiction of serf-humans. That, or somewhere, out there, some serious Heresy is going on (why did my keyboard auto-capitalize Heresy....).
