Can't believe it was 2012 that the Anime came out. It doesn't feel like it's been that long. I just remember always waiting for a season 2 announcement. Everyone seemed like they loved Humanity has Declined the Anime. Maybe they just loved the amazing intro video.

It's funny that 2025 is the year that so many people are nostalgically looking back to it. It was a really underrated Anime, even though it got less good at the end.

I still loved seeing the behind the scenes of the voice recording for the Anime. Nakahara Mai is still active, playing characters in many Anime and games. Like Hiyori in Blue Archive. Although to be fair, any voice actress that's been active for 10+ years and has some level of veterancy is almost certainly going to be in Blue Archive or a Hoyoverse game. It's a matter of when, not if.

That said, her performances are very good all around.
