Ah! Now I get it! So that weird superzombie thing eats zombies. Our friend quasi-zombie maybe has antibodies against zombie-ness. This guy wants to feed him to the superzombie in hopes of maybe giving him the antibodies and quasi-curing him so he can have his (beloved?) partner back. This seems unlikely to work, not that he's going to get the chance.

I wonder, if he bites into them but doesn’t kill them, if they’ll turn into a vampire as well... (Also considering he’s never actually bit into Mina, I’m a little suspicious.)
