Getting a reaction that intense from someone as coldly deadpan as Mitsunari is seriously precious
Also, that "resting area" - what the literal fuck!!

I'm stating the obvious here, but Oribe truly is a man of culture.

Mitsunari in history does seem to suffer a lot for that mistake (being an ass for the sake of the rule I mean)

I wonder what they'll do with those... painting? Paperwall? Not really sure what they're called. He doesn't seem to like them but still, throwing it away seems like such a shame.

Thanks for the translation as always! Really love this series, and the history parts are really well-executed here.

Isn't this the second time Oribe was dead serious when talking to Mitsunari? The first time was after the flood long ago.

@Grimmycoffee Yup, Ishida remained an anal stickler to the bitter end. But do you by any chance know
which side Oribe took (or was perhaps compelled to take) in the decisive battle between Tokugawa and Mitsunari at Sekigahara
?

This needs to be a sticky in this comment section

Don't make me cry even more, man (T_T).... just wish they did something about that since Ieyasu x Nene seems to be a thing before

@Grimmycoffee Oh crap, my bad - your previous post gave me the impression that you already had a rough knowledge of the real-life events when I posted that. Sorry for ruining it...

@ScarletLouse Ah I already know that before, don't worry.

I'm not really sure at what exactly Oribe did under them (he's never really much of a military man), but I do know his fate in history.
