Can't find what that persian ware looks like precisely, but I'm guessing the green looks kinda like this? https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f8/64/cb/f864cbecf07ef0c21836367e7ea80677.jpg
I can totally imagine a male voice coming out of Sakusuke's bride...that said she still looks kinda cute despite that lantern jaw. Also, pretty sure I'm not the only one who's all but certain Sakusuke doesn't swing that way, right?
On another note, this seems as good time as any to remind ourselves that this is still a work of fiction - however much the manga wishes to portray Tokugawa as a wise and just strategist with noble ambitions for Japan, the historical fact remains that he was a sneaky and ruthless schemer who was as blatantly behind personal power as any other contender in his time -
his eventual elimination of the Toyotomi clan was particularly brutal, specifically the siege of Osaka where incidentally Oribe was an unwitting fall guy in their schemes and was forced to commit Seppuku along with his son
. I don't know if the exchanges in the Setoya shop are a subtle foreshadowing of this side of him, though...
@StubbornOne Oh hey, so I take it you've gotten hold of the complete raws then? While I'm at it, might as well let you know how spiffingly grateful a whole lot of us are for your picking up of this series after Oresama went MIA for whatever reasons, I'd almost lost hope that a niche and underrated work like this would ever be able to see the light of day again
