Man, that was one long, slow burn to carry that guy's plot to this point (linking the dude who ran off with his tea wares to Matabei in this chapter). That's rather inspiring as a plot mechanic; it took the author literal years and incredible patience and memory to get to this point and use that hook. It's like Sayonara Zetusbou Sensei's ending twist.
