Mhh I think the comments are a bit harsh here. It may have had a bit of a cliched start, but it is an interesting story. The MC isn't a complete pushover, the worldbuilding seems solid, and other characters don't seem to be too annoying yet. It doesn't have any big issues right now with an interesting start, imo, so it could very well shape up to be a high 8 or 9 out of 10 if the quality doesn't get worse. Also, art looks great.

Pretty good so far, I really hate the generic manic pixie girl though.

l hope the author actually develops the character in an interesting direction.

It would suck if she just stays as the cute, methed up, sexual harasser gag the entire time.

Starts strong with the world building and coal mining but my god the tropes and cliches killed it for me

The exposition is amazing, honestly great.
But the characters are genuinely terrible. Like this was going so good, but all the "antagonists" are the same annoying, prideful snobs with no depth.

Bro why do I see comments like "this is trying to hard" "the art is too much" Bro this is perfect. In what way is this trying too hard? What you want the Mangaka to have booty art? I don't understand the remark of "trying too hard".

The idea of a poor miner becoming a hunter for cave monsters for a research group sounds interesting. In a time where everything is isakai or gyaru/delinquent romance, this manga offers a nice wiff of fresh air. While yes, the concept sounds TOO good to be true, I mean why would a poor miner all of a sudden be recruited by MDOR and given resources to wealth out of the blue. The concept doesn't reward the MC instant god status. The MC trains and studies hard. Seizing the opportunity provided to him.

I'm not saying this manga is all that, but it is a solid manga. The characters might need some work around. Sim is your stereotypical loser (I hate bro), and the bully characters are very Disney channel like. The couple were very dislikable, and I irked when I saw how they acted, but that doesn't discredit the manga as a whole. I know countless popular webtoons and manga's that follow worse character depictions, yet they are praised and loved by fans chopping up their lack luster character as "comedic". People complaining about the characters are too nitpicky. It's honestly not that bad, their dialogue isn't THAT corny (I read worst) and it doesn't ruin the experience.

I read this manga left wanting more chapters. The concept is cool, I feel like this manga would make a fire RPG game. If this were a video game, it would go STUPIDDD. This manga has massive potential, binge quality; it just sucks that there are only 18 chapters after 2 years.

This manga deserves more love and deserves to be released more frequently. This manga is probably made by a solo creator who makes manga on the side, too busy with their current life cause 1 episode a month is insane. I hope the mangaka doesn't drop this.
