For the credit and afterword pages, vol 2 & 3 cover images from this series were used. And for the second last page it's from a series called "STRAYBOY OVERKILL"

So let me get this straight, the "Talented" fire guy Frey fights in this chapter also took the aptitude test to enter the magic academy 5 years ago? But he's still re-taking it, implying he's not even a student yet, and hasn't passed in 5 years. (or even wound up in the top 30%?)

Isn't that the opposite of talent?

The one 5 years ago was only to determine which attributes they had and usually all the participants are the same age.

This is the academy entrance exam which requires the participant to be at least 15, so I'm guessing this is also his first time.
