uh oh, intersection of the storylines, and the antagonists catch our MC unawares... this was always how it was going to go of course, considering the conventions of genre as well as the way this story works, but it's still dramatic. And that's what makes the story so great really, it's the wonderful execution of it all in addition to the unique concept.
