Also intrigued. The zombies were all saying "Kurusu"! And the eye that sprouted from the beast! I think this means that Kurusu was controlling all the zombies to congregate and form the beast, which he then took control over. He seems to be hunting Hideo down, since Hideo infiltrated the hivemind.
So was this not related to why all the zombies are going south then? Is there an even bigger flesh beast forming? Who's controlling that one?
I reckon it's going to come down to a mental battle between Hiromi and Kurusu.
