Not much this time since this is just setting up the major boss fight this arc. The ambient mana had grown enough to open rifts for stronger monsters to spawn and the villain here used her Demonic Compulsion ability (all demons have this I think) to tell them to rampage. The proctors monitoring the situation were disappointed in Kyunwoo picking fights instead of evacuating and they laughed off his accusation that his opponent was Lee Gahyun until she confirmed it. At first they were in denial but then they all shit themselves when they saw her eyes flash red. What did the artist skip this time?
Couldn't agree more.I would really, really like to know who, exactly, in the world...thinks it's actually cool when a character names an attack like
Beast King Attack Style 10th Form True Heavenly Lion First Move Blue Thunder Slash
I mean, that's just so awkward. Everything about it is awkward. Even though I know it's bound to be a bit more compact in Korean, that's still got to be at least 12 syllables. It loses any impact of actually sounding cool, even given that naming attacks is questionable to begin with. It's presented like I'm supposed to find it impressive and intimidating, but it's difficult to emphasize just how much I do not. It's chuuni as hell.
I did something I've never done ever before and just straight-up skipped those panels. I can't even be arsed, I'm losing all goddamn patience with this tripe.I would really, really like to know who, exactly, in the world...thinks it's actually cool when a character names an attack like

To be quite honest, I started this comic because I liked the title premise of treating a future villain well so they don't end up being a villain. Something kinda cute.If the webtoon ever gets that far, you'll get to see just how cringe the family head's naming sense is. The forms up to this point are developed and named by ancestors so it seems horrible naming sense runs in the family.
After rereading, Kyunwoo's is terrible too.
Blame the webcomic for cutting out all the romance. The web novel is an entirely different story at this point. Check out my comments in like Chapter 34 to see how much gets cut. Pretty much every scene with romance or just showing their bond has been skipped. It's absurd. To be quite honest, I started this comic because I liked the title premise of treating a future villain well so they don't end up being a villain. Something kinda cute.
But now it's just a bunch of generic OP savior action crap that's everywhere. Is this what it really is? Is it going to be 99% tween-demographic power escalation infinite punching nonsense, or does the whole relationship-with-a-potential-villain stuff ever regain the spotlight?
