I was going to point out that it's a very common, minor error for many second or third-language english users...
But, first year of college a young teacher broke down when she realized almost half of her class (most of which if asked would tell you they only "speak american") didn't know the differences between that, nor between to, two and too... We're talking movie-like "single tear down cheek" as she tries explaining things 17 and 18 year olds should have known for more than a decade.
