FML and the cute little shit are written quite nicely to me (the kid is too smart compared to reality tho (at least comparing to me)) but the duke is really bad. Dude's beyond shallow. The scenes where MLs are charmed by FML dressed up appearance is like 101 how to shallow the characters.
Take a look at Mr. Villain Husband. That ML is the most consistent ML i have ever read i believe. Dude is evil by nature and him falling for the FML did not change his nature at all other than him treating the FML softer and much more gently than anything and anyone else in the world.
This one is a big bad empty ML tho. What is his story for him to be so stupid with his daughter? Its unfortunate that now hes already fallen for the FML for not much reason. Maybe he fell for her because she takes care of his daughter but that would say that he should have fallen for the previous bitchy Nanny. Cause its equally shallow.
