It's good Heidel is taking his job seriously without being arrogant but really should watch what he says. He knows she's the Duke's daughter yet he said that a child with black hair and red eyes is recognized as the inheritor of the family but what he said could be taken as her not recognized as part of the family since she has blonde hair and pink eyes. Should have mentioned how they treat children with non-black hair and reddish eyes since she doesn't know anything.
MC really traumatized by that scum of a mother. If she wasn't considered part of the family she wouldn't have gotten such a nice room and if would be a servant would be taught everything would need to know for the job. Hopefully she'll realize she's part of the family and value herself more soon.
