As much as I’m annoyed at Zeons phrasing, I get it. Estelle seems to have been stalling acting as the master/miss of the household. Maybe that’s just his character’s way (aka growing up as a noble) of telling her that to act “blind” to social class will do more harm than not in the long run. I’m thinking of him more as a foil to Estelle than any foreshadowing of him doing something bad in the future (I hope the author doesn’t prove me wrong >_>’).
Also, we all know Emiel is hiding in the shadows because there’s no way he wouldn’t follow then into town, especially when dealt with like that haha
