I'm still not sure why they are making them move random objects around. the mystery is so intriguing

Perhaps it's the art style, but I'm finding it difficult to tell some characters apart without rereading previous chapters. All these different girls are moving stuff around, for the purpose of it appears to be "because I told you so" is getting kind of old. When one thinks about it, how the heck did "S" establish working influence over group of gophers in what seems like a short period of time; there are at least five that we've seen or have been mentioned. How much time has passed by since Young entered this school?
