This chapter ties into what I was talking about in 7; "S" uses gophers to do tasks for whatever enigmatic reasons, so that she herself isn't implicated for mischief. Perhaps S has some kind of phobia in being around groups, thus can't attend classes and have a regular high school life, and is jealous of 'normal' girls who do so. S gathers dirt on whomever she feels is subject to manipulation and uses them to play her game. I'm curious if the other girl was one of 'us' as well, and is also using Young to do the deeds that she herself has been assigned by S to perform. Or maybe, she is a "rival" of S, and is playing her own manipulation game; that would mean poor Young is being worked from both sides like a spit-roasted *censored*.
