Of course she is.... in these stories, the OG heroes always have to be horrible... and the bad guys were the good people...

At the very least here actions speak louder than words, so as much as shes denying her feelings they’re still getting closer, not just relationshipwise but also literally physically closer so IMO not as bad as it could be

yeah it’s pretty overused and the best use for the trope is when it’s discarded quickly to allow happy fluff, hopefully it gets resolved here soon
