Probably, the former, since he doesn't look particularly like the husband. Though, if he were the husband/ex-husband, it would make for quite the awkward reunion.

It would make more sense if he killed the husband and captured the wife, hence why there was only 1 kiddo. Heh.

@Mewples Unless there are painful memories associated, why has he not I troduced them/their graves (or mention of them)? If he had siblings, why then have the humans conquered? Wouldn't the siblings have helped prevent that? It seems odd to me that their wouldn't be multiple relatives whom themselves having kids, etc. Where is their uncle(s) and aunt(s)?

Probability was my rationale in this. We haven't seen or heard of any so most likely they don't exist. If they do, someone should bring them up ASAP!

If they existed, unless their was a big falling out or someone got killed, I'd imagine that they'd talk about it.

The Queen has to heat the castle so the king's new demon siblings don't freeze in the frigid human castle—she's all angsty as fook, and is awaiting her grandchildren. 😂

Son this either his father betrayed them or they died by human hands when in reality the human king is dead & replaced by his father and mother, and the Mom has to fake her status as "prisoner". Maybe, the hero is really their chosen match for their granddaughter? 🤔

Grandma would be extra cranky cuz she's had to play the captive heating unit all this time. Just imagine all those secret S'MORE cuddle moments in the dungeons. Likewise, are his siblings all in disguise as humans?

Likewise, since the Demon King is part human, maybe, an alternative story is their parents got into a HUGE fight and so the Dad conquered the human territories or declared himself King (if the human realms were under the Queen's control), and when she came to apologize, he yandered her in the basement? 🤔

Alternatively, maybe, the human king is the yandere love interest who killed the father & locked the Queen in his dungeon, and is trying to conquer in order to wipe out the child of HIS Queen? 😉😂😂😂

Second considering the demon lords bring saint or Saintess to breed....is it possible the whole human race in that world descendants from saint and Saintess escapees? The first words to mc were misleading that she thought she was going to be raped in front of a bunch of monsters....so I mean it’s not unfathomable some legged it and it can also explain why heros thoughts are so extreme, maybe at least
