To be fair, I'm not surprised... murdered off a waifu that supported him... says he'll abandon humanity but doesn't.. everything feels dragged out..

MC wanted to leave the position that made him hated by the world for his own incompetence in shutting up bad rumors.
Got a system that gave him monster powers but kept being a goody-two-shoes.
The global government was corrupt before and even more after he gone away.
For his dissaperance good people suffered, but villains were barely touched.
He continued to fight for the people instead of sitting back and watching humanity get their payback for being willfull ignorant and corrupt.
Just bad writing, the concept was good but the studio behind it was unable to actually think of how to do it and just made usual cliches of heroic stories.
