Could just be a personal preference but I greatly prefer the longer more literal names. I barely remember the main characters name. No way, I'm going to remember the minor characters. But I do remember the name lunar god.

The original country's names are just not encountered enough in English.

Yeah that is the case, and I can't really do much since I only translate

The story is abit messy but It might also have to do with the nameing of characters.
For a western person getting a grasp of asian names in general becomes much harder.
as the names structuring are very different from what we are used too.

a more accurate tranlsation would be "Needs a good~good reward" but it wouldn't make sense

"Needs a good~good reward" makes perfect sense, and gives the indication that the speaker is speaking in a cutesy, child-like way.

This really has a so bad its good kinda vibe for me, she pulling up a starship and blasting is just the pinnacle of it, but the scene of chp1 of the deer picking up a cellphone whit its antler feet and googling mc name is still the funniest scene in this manga.
From the writing, world building, characters names/designs/actions, dialog (not shaming the translation team, i know Chinese is super complicated, but in a case like this it just ads to the confusion) its all so confusing.
Even the Back ground art is confusing, feel chapters ago i though they were in a floating island city but in most past chapter panels they where fighting in a colisseum in the middle of nowhere.
But still the characters are the most interesting part of this manga, because they have actual designs, but are so forgettable, beacuse the author makes they only appear for like 2chp at most and in most cases is to fulfill the "omg is that the emperor dragon shade of the lunar darkside" trope, literal texts popups only there to name other characters.
