See, unlike "To Be a Power in the Shadows", I actually enjoy this one. In large part because the main character isn't a brain damaged chuuni, and is instead someone that knows and full well acknowledges what they are doing is fake, but due to circumstances, can't do anything but keep the act up.
I know I'll prolly catch hate for saying this, but that was a large part of my issue with "To Be a Power in the Shadows", how unbelievably, over the freakin top chuuni it was. And the fact that the author just made the MC's made up chuuni bs work. That kind of thing can be interesting or tolerable in side characters personally, but when that is the entire focus of the MC of the story, it's too much personally.
