I don't see how she's gonna take revenge. Just looks like they keep sleeping with her/raping her and she now only gets mad and does nothing else. Hmm maybe its too early to judge but I guess I'll wait and see.:/ Cheating men must die is way better in the revenge aspect so far than this.

@thunderbuggs , i agree..it's jumping all over the place..though, idk if something got lost in translation or it's just what it is..

if it's just what it is, the lack of storytelling shows the inexperience of the editor..or the artist if s/he works alone, and i hope it'd get better..as unlikely as it may be

@ROOR21ROO She hasn't been raped yet, those scenes are just the memory of her host about how stuff turned out with those people, her whole goal is to avoid all that.

At least that's how i understood it, the story isn't really clear.

@Paru I guess if they're dodging the author, that's pretty pathetic and a shame.

Because I feel like it'd be so much easier to find another writer and propose "hey I want to create a revenge transmigration manhua like (insert examples here), would you like to be the writer and I'll do the art?"
It'd be original and could probably capitalize on polishing up against the strengths and weaknesses of the example works.


Edit: it'd just be such a waste of effort for there to be drama between the original author and the mangaka (what's the Chinese version of mangaka? lol), when the artist can just ditch the source work and create a whole new story completely that captures the essence of what they wanted to do.

@marrow Yeah, like you said how the artist could find another author easily, but another reason I would think an artist would just ditch the rest of the source material would be to use the popularity of the source to boost their own clout. This comic just feels odd because there is already another one ongoing and has started from the beginning.

I don’t get that Xiao Fang guy. Isn’t he her bodyguard? So what happened that first time she called him and he threw knives at the general? Did he just leave after throwing the knives?? What kind of bodyguard is that!? And why does he say that his name isn’t Xiao Fang?

His name isn't Xiao Fang, Ning Shu just calls him like this because he reminds her of aXiao Fang.

He just threw the knives because he coudn't win in a one on one fight.
