In my opinion, it’s not that her standing came from any mental illness. It’s not even stated that she has one. What this is saying is that she was looking for some way to feel love from another and turned to loving things like characters.

this chapter brought tears to my eyes as i feel like her situation is really similar to mine's. this manwha is so amazing for talking about these matters and how they actually affect children alot. as most manwhas portray these things very lightly, tysm for talking about it and expressing it perfectly.

I really didn't expect this story to have such a serious reason for her stanning, especially of Abel. I liked the translator's explanation of how her behavior was abnormal, even in a different culture. Turns out the poor girl just wanted someone to love, and to love her. She's picked a nice family for that.

I hope that she rains absolute hellfire on the countess.

I kinda relate to that. Not the being abuse part, but 'stanning-as-a-coping-mechanism' when you suffer from a mental health.

I actually tried reading this series before.
But I didn't like the mc's character. Because "how can you get over the fact that you DIED so easily, how can you just move on like that because it's the world of your stan? And dedicating your ENTIRE LIFE to stan... Did you not have a life? Do you not even miss your parents, friends or ANYONE?" is what I thought... So I dropped it at like ch 2. And started reading today coz i was bored.

I shouldn't have been so quick to judge. Damn.

I knew it. I'm a survivor of child abuse too and I felt it was the same for Aisha because of her stanning and being so protective and loving towards this character who "just so happened" to have an "unfortunate childhood". It's never just that. That's why the people who judged her so harshly so quickly really rubbed me the wrong way. :/
