No one is really discussing the tragedy of Hades. He had the same methods taught to him when he was a child, and he's destined to die to his "son" in a year. The same one who he made his world-- he made him his heir and originally didn't marry to prevent any heirs that would take the title away from Abel.
MC literally gives no shit about him dying other than the trauma it will give to Abel, not even viewing him as a human being. Hades is thinking she loves him and his falling for her, which is a big oof.
MC kinda makes me cringe a little, outside of this chapter. She said she didn't want to change anything but then steps in as his step mom and takes over his education to be able to stan Abel more....which also is kinda cringey because is she technically infatuated with a kid??? She stanned his adult self and sometimes gives off the impression that she wishes she was Deborah, at least to me. I really hope she starts seeing Abel as more of a son (than someone to "stan") and Hades as an actual living being and not just a character who'll die in a year.
