@Mngtr To be completely honest, I think he'll be a bit hurt but will quickly recover, and maybe fall even more in love with her, once he realizes just how much she loves and cherishes his son. As he stated before he'd do anything, even kill, for his son, so knowing that she loves his son just as much, or even possibly more, than he does will be a boon rather than a detriment. It'll still hurt regardless, but it'll also help him realize that he has an opportunity to properly court her and earn her love through effort. After all, a child should be loved(Read: Not spoiled) unconditionally and raised well, but the love one receives from a significant other should be earned and built up with proper foundation, otherwise it'll crumble to the ground as the relationship reaches it's peak.
