I naturally liked it when I was little, like every kid would, but at the end of the day, it's just practically 100% sugar. Not only is it nothing but pure sugar, it's really messy as well. Regular candy, at least, has different sorts of flavours; fruit flavours, spice flavours, herb flavours, everything imaginable. Cotton candy is like taking a spoonful of sugar from a cheap bag of sugar and that's it.
