I'm just asking because the translator said those are half chapters and we are in fact on 18. And the raws are at 90.

I just compared volume 8 and the numberings in Mangadex is definitely off. (Volume 8 chapter 34 in tankobon is definitely way past the encounter with the elf.)

This series should either remove the volume numbers to match the official raw numbering, or fixed entirely to follow the tankobon.

I was wondering about the chapter numbering myself and on the raws (from Pash Up!'s site, not the takonbon version) this is counted as Ch. 36, but as Ch. 18 on the takonbon version (its part of Vol. 4).

On the non takonbon raws there are no chapter numbers on the first page unlike the takonbon version.

Seems like every takonbon chapter is 2 to 3 chapter parts from Pash Up! (the publisher) or so, but weirdly they didn't just name them 18.1, 18.2, etc. which would have given a clear chapter numbering regardless if its the volume or magazine version.

While searching for that the official English version has long surpassed this chapter and is on Vol. 7 (released Sept. 3, 2024) which ends at Ch. 33 (or Ch. 68 if following the Pash Up numbering used here on MangaDex).

Honestly I was getting more confused the more I compared the takonbon chapters and raws since some chapters are comprised of 2 or 3 parts of raws have different page numbers for each part with some as low as 11 pages and some around 21 or even more in some cases.
