But the question is.... why??? Why would she betray a person who was only good too her, useful to her and she seemed to care about him??? Yet for no reason, she killed him....

Makes me wonder if she did it because the plot in the original story had her kill him and so she was forced to follow it....

Or was she really just that dumb....

She's probably dumb. Even if she had unknown reasons just the fact that she regretted only when the white-haired girl killed her shows that she didn't think things deeply.

from how it was implied by that white haired girl, she just drowning in power. maybe she afraid MC will takes her throne since he the one who helped her. hence she killed him.

Okay now that's a fairly interesting (albeit probably done before) way to travel back in time. MC using time travel in his dying moments, and his killer also regresses completely after they are also killed
