That felt kind of unnecessary... the MC was already a female, and this felt like an easy way to avoid the duke falling for a 'mere' servant and all the issues and serious discussions that might entail like in His Fair Footman.

I want to see what kind of reaction he'd have to hearing his attendant was murdered. I hope they don't just blew over it since they made sure to show how much he won't let MC quit. I still want to know why. Maybe he already knew the truth.

Also I think it's less interesting seeing yet another character with long, billowy, blonde hair. How about a pretty blue, a grayish pastel pink or pastel purple, an orange... Duke has white hair so they're not trying to be too realistic... There are so many colors available, let's be a little more creative...

I really don't like that she got killed off like that. Her original character seemed so much more promising... This blondie is just too much of a cliche. She's a count's daughter who is also a candidate to the duke who showed a lot of affection towards the original FL? like CMON... 🙄
