This is even worse than I expected.
Why, all of a sudden, did the exam change from 1-on-1 to "everyone fight a dragon"? Coincidence, just when the MC is passing the exam? In a normal story, I'd think there's some meaning behind it, but here, it's probably just bad writing.
What's the point of an exam where applicants die? "Urr Durr, the demon general is a Bad Guy!" Then why wasn't it how the exam was conducted up to this point?
Ignoring the MC who's an anomaly, even the princess couldn't do anything against the dragon, so was the point to kill every examenee? Why?
Time to look for something better to read.
