The MC is an unknow quantity, an anonymous anomaly, but the world still behave in a way that wouldn't make sense if they weren't here.

E.G.:
When the MC takes the academy exams, out of nowhere they change the last exam from 1-on-1 fight to "all applicants together VS a dragon". The MC is the ONLY one that could fight the dragon. If he wasn't there, EVERYONE ELSE would have died/be disqualified. The only reason for that is because the author wanted a cool fight, but there's no valid justification in-world.

It could be other outside forces yet to be revealed, so that isn't necessarily what is irredeemable if there are other changes to the story that the MC entered. Also, your specific example doesn't work, because, because he had no idea what the test was going to be so it may have always been that way. But you aren't wrong that there are changes, the story mentions it mutliple times, three good examples though are: The first one the MC notices in chapter 1, before he even gets any power, literally the same day he gains his memories from the world outside of the game, there is major plot change in the game with the humans attack far inside the demon territory. Secondly, the normally overly plentiful goblins are going extinct, also chapter 1 and 2 but those can be explained with things we may not know about yet, like maybe other entities are affecting the world? But the third makes no sense, the first demon general revealed another set of arms he never used in the game, like why?

I read the first 28 chapters, it is painful. It was like junk food, I had as much as I could till I couldn't. Read at your own risk.
Two translation teams worked on this, I appreciate their efforts, if I am feeling masochistic enough, I may return, but I am tapping out for now.
