What is he trying to achieve? A guide to speedrun the bankruptcy of an empire?
Add that Viese slapped Tia, grandpa will be ready to throw hands with the emperor. Add Perez to that, and you could have pure chaos unleashed in the empire... worst case scenario, you have a civil war + other countries aiding the Lombardi and maybe also other nobles of the empire helping them.

It was a bad idea from the very beginning. Crazy that he actually did it.
