What a beautiful manga. While I do wish the author allowed us to see the last three days Kusunoki and Miyagi spend together and their eventual deaths (hopefully with them finding two good graves for each other), though at the same time leaving that out allows us to imagine how we personally would want them to spend that time, which is nice. I'm torn between giving this a 9/10 and a 10/10, it wasn't quite as impactful to me as other manga I've read about treasuring the life you have and the effect it can have on others, but at the same time was a beautiful story. I think I'll go with the latter, after experiencing this it would feel insulting to contribute to it having a lower ranking than it has currently.

Also, just out of curiosity, why is it that the cover image on the main page for this manga is the first volume's cover art and not the last/most recent one? Every other manga I've seen so far has gone with the most recent one as the one they put on the main page, I wonder why this is different.
