I hate it when authors start writing that world is almost the same as real world. And then medicine comes in... Always needless and herbs that all surgeons use and respect, pulses that can nearly detect your thoughts xD.
It's absurd. Totally ruins whole worldbuilding to me.
And since when person who can learn from book to manipulate air, doesn't try to learn magic or other things like "how to cure cancer" or "Can I fly?".
it is just stupid.

all you folks are just unaware this is the first go-around before he becomes a Demon Lord and cultivates to the peak of the mortal realm before being betrayed by his closest friends and lover... all before reincarnating back to the moment he comes across the book...like its a temporal spirit book or something :O lol

@ thock3d lol this is slowly turning (always was!) into a wuxia story. we get the acupuncture techniques and sense of qi, and now he's onto pill refinement. next up will be tool refinement! new needles soon!

@DeathDonut sorry im pretty high so are you saying the pill making is in chapter 50? cause he gets complimented on his stirring and making the herb ball pill in this chapter or did i @ you before you read this chapter? then my bad. thought i saw you read through since you commented on chp50. my bad again.

@permisan I noticed him messing with traditional pill-based medicine, somewhere around this chapter right after I said "at least they have no pill refining". Basically... I dropped this manhwa after that, as it turned into nonsense. Used to have a nice melancholic/relaxed vibe in the beginning, but not any more.
