What she asked about being acupunctured (is that the term? puncture -->punctured ??) correctly is what freaks me out the most. I'm willing to accept that acupuncture has a place in medicine but how can one be assured that the acupuncturist is able to find and hit the correct sweet spot? the needles are traditionally .08mm, one sixth the diamter of a .5mm lead for a mechanical pencil, fine as they may be what margin of error for insertion would the original founders have decreed to be acceptable? Too deep or too far off the mark and methinks one could end up causing more harm than good.
