I don't mind if this post takes a while to get a reply but can any fans of K -celebrities explain to me why there's usually this odd cultural sensitivity towards their celebs and dating? Is it just in fiction or does this frequently happen IRL as well?

@Lexical Idk about real life but well with his experience and some wise-word from book of experience, he actually should be able to find better solution for their situation without risking their relationship. I feel disappointed with author choice of solution for this case, but what can I say? This is for the drama and the continuation of the comic, I can only accept it. But I still feel sad about this.

@Lexical No it's totally real. This kind of stuff exists in the West, just not for dating. It's just fan culture. Idk why it is the way it is for dating specifically in Korea, but there are similar things in other East Asian countries. If I were to guess, something to do with conservative values and female "purity". I follow casually, so I'm no expert, so take this with a grain of salt.

I've seen it brought up in more than a few j or k-dramas and comics but learning about culture through fiction made solely for entertainment isn't the sanest thing to do if one wants a reliable overview. On a side note, between the six-degrees of Bacon and a person meeting approx 80,000 people in a lifetime. I wonder if there's an actual statistic probability on dating a star.
