I'm definitely going to keep reading. I'm curious to see where this story is going. I still, however, think it was dumb/rude of her to not greet the guest. Sure. In the story he was her killer but none of that has happened yet. At this point he has done nothing wrong to her (as far as she knows) so there is no need for her to be rude to him (of course if he turns out to really be a jerk then I'll be okay with it). But I think the strongest point you made was the fact that she doesn't see any of this as real yet. I didn't think about that. That's a real possibility and explains her rude attitude to the people around her.
