Props to Elena for doing it though. So many protagonists hold onto information until it becomes problematic, so good on her for deciding to rat out White in favor of revealing the issue to someone smarter and more resourceful than her.

Plot twist: MC's predecessor didn't actually wish for the world's destruction per se. In her desire to stress eat after getting rejected by Duke Bourdelle, she wished for unlimited ice cream. She got her wish granted in the form of an ever-growing ice cream. Unfortunately, she died from overeating the ice cream. Worse, the ice cream didn't stop growing and even gained sentience. Devils (and celestials) then tried to destroy it, humans thought that the devils invaded... World War. With the ice cream as the winner.
