Honestly I can't even feel sad or heartbreak about this since the issue could be resolved with some communication. As it currently stands, it just feels more like she just wants to go through the motion of breaking up and having a doomed love. I know that's not the case, but it's just how it feels with how it's portrayed.

I mean, I could understand it if he was a victim of the yakuza, and he lost his family to them and thus hated them. Or if her father found out about him and disapproves of him, and threatened her to break up with the boy otherwise he'll get killed. Something along those lines would definitely make this all the more understanding imo. Then again, maybe it did happen, and I just missed it...

All in all, just tell him the truth already.

Yeah, I'm also gonna echo this and say this drama doesn't make any sense at all. Like, she's literally breaking up with him over something she thinks will happen (he'll hate her because Yakuza) even though there is zero indication that he would care. Like if she just told him she was a Yakuza I bet his response would be just "oh... I see?"

Hard to get emotional over drama that makes no sense lol.

Sure, but it has nothing to do with her simply telling him. No one's denying her dangerous connections or putting it lightly. But she's not doing anyone any favor by breaking up without telling him. What if he tries pursuing her in order to find our the truth? That in itself could lead him into far more danger as it could get him mixed up with other yakuza groups.
