I dislike this manga for several reasons. The constant dark expression is just one of them

His entire goal in life was to be a "HSC" yet he's almost openly flaunting his power.

Based on the title, I was at least expecting the credit of his actions to go to another kind of oblivious and dumb character. Instead, he's 'pretending' to be weak while acting completely composed in every situation.
