Fair point, the ending of this chapter makes me wonder who the antagonist of the coming conflict is. Hopefully not the king or the ml(assumed) of the maid. Actually, the antagonist of this coming conflict is probably Primera's stepmother.
PS: Primera means first in Spanish, but the "a" at the end of the name indicates a female, otherwise, it would be an "o" making It Primero I guess, which is still first in English without any gender indication.

@IMACOP From what I understood of Ch. 1, it's more like she's living out a prequel, so she doesn't know that much about many of the events that transpire prior to the game's plot

@IMACOP: Primera is the villainess, meaning Yulia only knew her from whenever she show up in the game, since I highly doubt the game would suddenly shift into "here's why Primera who's been such a bitch to you is actually a kid with complex" story, or the...'hidden side' of the royal family relation.
Not to mention as a mere maid without much MP, the things she can do is limited.

That said, I'm hoping for the 'elope' ending like a certain one-shot

WN explains that Prince Aralbert is one of the 4 romanceable male leads. The others include the heir of a wealthy merchant family, the heir of an earldom training to become a knight, and an assassin "burdened with the darkness of the royal family". Endings are either friendship, happy or dark. You could also get a harem ending, or a yuri ending with Primera. The game story is scheduled to start in 1 years' time.

As for the people at the end,

they're from the 3rd male lead's earldom. Dean is the name of the 3rd lead. Alder is Dean's half-brother.

the king's over-affection for Primera is causing the Queen to act in that cold manner towards Primera (I realised the Queen's attitude is all because of the king...who only paid attention to Primera's mother and neglected the queen...(I'm also aware) the queen secretly arranges favourable treatment for Primera quietly and (treats her sternly to toughen her up, unlike the king who'd rather spoil her because he likes cute fluffy things.)

try to get to know the concubine while she was alive, but people were immediately suspecting her of planning to hurt her? and so she can't do anything but treat Primera with "tough love", because once again she'd be suspected if she acted friendly towards the concubine's daughter, on top of the king thinking that "women only need to be cute and get spoiled" like you said (my opinion of the king is rock bottom)

That's about right. I also recall parts of the raws saying the king does better at handling the country than his family. Although, at least the king (and the dowager queen) acknowledge that Yulia's doing an amazing job at being Primera's companion/caretaker.
