I have to wonder what would happen if Viviana came to know about our MC being able to drink poison and not be affected?

Imagine purposely carrying a bottle of cyanide or something similar in case you get thirsty, can double as a mean of defence.

Then lament at the wasted fruit drink flavour.

And some how again the FL doesn't realize the events in the story do happen but the perspective of the novel was skewed

It looks like their Teacher has been brainwashing these two for a really long time. The old male lead and old female lead is pretty screwed up in the head. I'm guessing the author is probably going to show them torture everyone from kids to pregnant ladies to old men while smiling happily as if they were simply baking bread in a kitchen surrounded by singing disney animals.
