If I get this right they know each other since childhood so for about 10 years, but in high school she moved out, he didn't have any contact with her for 2 years till they met up by chance at university.

Don't worry, it gets worse. It seems to be a thing with certain authors to make the main male protaganist suffer as much as possible throughout the series until the last couple of chapters.

Yeah, the pacing is weird. I get that she went away (without any explanation) for two years and came back, but the transition between this and the last chapter was too abrupt.

Bruh, they're practically strangers now lmao. At least it's realistic.
