what's this MC doing. inner monologue is fine and all, but she should have already been aware of her position. to waste time on inner monologue so much she doesn't notice what's happening in her immediate real-life environment is already dangerous enough, but she's in the presence of nobility, so her being a commoner could mean death for such behaviour.

but i guess the story is forgiving enough for that to not happen.
